Palo Santo wood, dense and rich in essential oils, exudes an inimitable fragrance, blending woody, citrusy, and comforting notes. Used in shamanic rituals, it purifies spaces by eliminating stagnant energies and raising energy vibrations. White sage, or Salvia apiana, is a sacred plant used for centuries by Native American peoples for its purifying properties. When burned, sage incense releases aromatic particles with active energies that cleanse the space of negative energies and raise vibrational frequencies.

Traditionally used during cycle-changing ceremonies, white sage is also used to purify ambient energy. It is therefore frequently used during moves or after significant events.

Directions for use

Each time you use the candle, allow the entire surface of the wax to melt before extinguishing it, to prevent tunneling and hollowing. Limit the first burn to a maximum of one hour.

Before each use, trim the wick to about 1 cm: this prevents black smoke and ensures a stable flame. Make sure it stays straight and centered for even burning.

Once the wax has fully liquefied, do not let your Flame burn for more than one additional hour, or more than 3 hours consecutively, for optimal fragrance diffusion and safe burning.

Preferably use our long matches to light it without burning your fingers, and avoid handling it while it is still hot.

Place your HOZHO Flame on a flat surface, away from drafts and any flammable sources.

Never leave your HOZHO Flame unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and animals.
